sothebysrealty.com shows increase in key metrics
Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC today announced that in the year since launching its redesigned website, sothebysrealty.com, it has seen increases in key traffic metrics.
In the first quarter of 2012 there were more than 4 million property views and an 87 percent increase in email leads year-over-year from 2011 to 2012. The Sotheby’s International Realty brand last year announced the launch of an integrated marketing strategy built around its newly redesigned website, which gives affiliates the ability to create their own broker, agent and specialty websites that share the brand site’s innovative features, functionality, look and feel.
“The increases in our web traffic and client leads are a testament to the enhanced consumer engagement with the website, its ease of use and versatile search options that include nearby locations, maps and lifestyle,” said Wendy Purvey, Chief Marketing Officer, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. “Page views increased 13 percent while visits and visitors each increased 10 percent year-over-year first quarter 2011 to 2012. Our data tells us that consumers are spending twice as long on sothebysrealty.com than the industry average, at nearly 12 minutes.”
Sothebysrealty.com is designed to enhance the user experience, allowing consumers to define and refine how they want to search, whether by lifestyle or location. The website can be viewed in 15 languages, and every listing is accompanied by a unique property slide show video that allows viewers to listen to narration in their preferred language. Property list price also is displayed in dozens of currencies, updated daily with the latest exchange rates.
The Sotheby’s International Realty network currently has more than 12,100 sales associates located in approximately 620 offices in 45 countries and territories worldwide.
